I think 20 wins is (or will be) a very big deal this year. CUSA is pretty darn good and very well balanced this year. IMO, 6 CUSA teams this year (Tech, WKU, UNT, UAB, Marshall & apparently ODU) have a legitimate shot at winning the conference title. That's an extraordinary statement this late in the season.
Also, Tech only pooted in its pants one time this year, and that was in our 31-point humiliation at LSU. But other than that one embarrassment, Tech's remaining 5 losses were by 5 pts, 7 pts, 2 pts, 8 pts & 2 pts. And all of these losses were on the road, expect for the 8 pt loss to Marshall back on Jan 2nd.
So, other than the LSU game, no one can argue that Tech "didn't show up" for it's games this year. Nothing like our 16-point loss at UTSA last year. Tech was very competitive in literally every game this year, save for the LSU debacle.
I should have quoted what I was replying to. I was replying to a general 20 win season comment, not a 20-21 season feat.
I sure would like to see LeDoux get hot again.
LeDoux led Tech in scoring in 7 games last season, and 6 games earlier this season. But nothing since January 8th. Tech has now played 11 games since Jan 8th, and LeDoux hasn't led the team scoring in any of them.
Tech seems to be getting increased production from Crawford, Lofton and especially Williams, who has really stepped up his game in the latter half of this season.
Have you considered those Dogs?
