Re: Bulldogs Host West Division Leader Blazers
I've said it a MILLION TIMES, you CANNOT give up the 3-pointer like that, late in the game.
It's STUPID!!
Just put EVERYBODY out on the 3-pt line and GIVE UP the 2-pointer. It's worth it!

Re: Bulldogs Host West Division Leader Blazers
Any "W" is a good "W." Wish we wouldn't leave so many points on the table with missed FTs.
I will say Konkol is better than Dale Brown !

A win against UAB, the university of cheater homer conference “employees” and rules, is always a good and deserved win.

Re: Bulldogs Host West Division Leader Blazers
WEST
UNT 8-2 - still has 2 vs WKU, 2 @Marshall & 2 vs UAB
UAB 9-3 - still has 2 vs ODU, 2 @UTSA & 2@UNT

UTSA 8-6
Rice 6-8
**UTEP 5-8
USM 3-11
EAST
WKU 8-2 - still has 2 @UNT, 2 vs FIU & 2 VS ODU
ODU 7-3 - still has 2 @UAB, 2 vs MTSU & 2 @WKU
Marshall 6-4 - still has 2 @Rice, 2 vs UNT & 2 vs Charlotte
Charlotte 5-7
FAU 3-5
MT 3-9
**FIU 2-11
Assuming Tech runs the table for the last 4 games, I like our chances to win it all. It may get ugly when WKU finishes 12-4 (75%) vs LA Tech's 14-4 (77.78%), but Tech should win on percentages, right?
Same with UNT. I expect the Mean Green to finish 12-4 (75%) or 11-5 (68.75%), after the Mean Green splits with WKU at home, splits at Marshall and possibly gets another split at home against UAB. Again, Tech should have the edge on a percentage basis, if not an outright better record. UNT has 6 very tough games remaining.
Lastly, I think Marshall will lose at least one game at UNT, and finish 11-5 (68.75%), while ODU & UAB are both destined to lose a couple more games. Additionally, LA Tech now owns the tiebreaker over UAB.

Re: Bulldogs Host West Division Leader Blazers
Very significant events at the end of the Rice at WKU game.
Game was basically over and Milton for WKU drove for an unnecessary dunk in the last 10 seconds. Bassey came on the court while play was still in progress, and then chest-bumped Milton on the court after the score. Then Anderson for WKU came off the bench and pushed a Rice player after Milton was shoved. Both Bassey and Anderson were ejected for leaving the bench area. C-USA will have to rule on any additional punishment for especially Anderson but also possibly Bassey. WKU is scheduled at North Texas next weekend.
If Anderson's push is deemed to be fighting, the penalty is a 1-game suspension.
