Indesu never said that you should vote for Biden, just that character and morality were sufficient reasons to avoid voting for Trump.
Conservatives that voted for Biden didn't do it because they thought he would be conservative, but because conservatism needs to be liberated from big spending, low-intellect, statism. It's a potential short term loss in an effort to get a long term gain.

So, if I understand, you are hoping that Biden will be kept from doing anything for 4 years to make it worse in hopes that a true conservative is elected that restores whose policies? Reagan? Bush? (Gag) Someone else? But you wanted to get away from Trump because, in your opinion, he is worse for American than Kamala and Obama, who are really driving Biden’s dingy.
Not being snarky, just trying to wrap my mind around how Biden is the lesser of 2 evils or the less crappy of the 2 bowls of crap.

...and I laid out in my post the things that offset your claims above. "low-intellect" really? What are you core beliefs that entitle you to call yourself a conservative?
There will always be big spending from now on. The Regan and the Bushes and most of the GOP enjoy big spending. You never talk up Rand Paul for some reason.
Statism is exactly what conservatives are fighting against during this China Virus crap. You fussed because Trump didn't do enough "statism".
Well, you could vote for someone else. That someone won't become president, but that is an option.
A lot of people looked at Trump and Biden and decided Biden was the lesser of two evils. Just like a lot of people did in 2016 (for Trump). For that matter, plenty of Trump voters chose him in both 2016 and 2020 (or one or the other) because they felt that way. I get it.
Whether you could vote for Biden as the lesser evil and still call yourself "conservative?" I think so. But that really hinges on what your most "conservative" values are. In theory, you'd only need to convince yourself he's the tiniest bit "less worse" for the country than Trump. Seems like you could do that on several fronts.
I almost responded to GLM by quoting his comment and asking "what's left?" But then I thought I might know the answer (the answer could be that argument - he's "less bad" than Biden).
But it just struck me funny to read "you don't like his demeanor, morality, or policies" as if that's an argument for why you should have voted for him.
What I guess you're saying is "less bad" and maybe a little "you don't like his policies, but you should reconsider that stance to some degree."
