The problem I have with stuff like this is, nobody TODAY really knows what was going on with the decision making process 8 or 10 years ago. There's a quote in the attached story saying "the Board of Supervisors opted NOT to fire Miles back in 2013 due to a lack of evidence" that he made inappropriate comments toward women. Okay. Shouldn't the book have been closed? I mean, it's not murder, or rape, or anything close to it.
Point is, if they didn't have evidence waaaaaay back in 2013, how are they getting evidence now? Is this whole thing contrived? If this decision not to fire Miles truly happened back in 2013, then I have to think the alleged infraction itself happened at least months --if not years-- before that. Simply put, this is crazy, old, crap!
Is LSU going to start investigating former LSU coach Charlie McClendon next? To be consistent, I think they should. Maybe McClendon spoke harshly to an intern back in 1972.
This smells of "political gymnastics" to me. Who's driving this nonsense at LSU?
