A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:
Louisiana Tech (13-7, 8-6) face Rice (13-2, 9-1) Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m. in the final regular season Conference USA series of the year for the Lady Techsters. Friday's game will be on CUSA.tv and Saturday's will be on ESPN+. Both contests can be heard on the LA Tech Sports Network on KNBB 99.3 FM.

Rice 73 Tech 50
Tech's 3-point defense performance was about as bad as the Learfield broadcast links. Commercials and network content only with game broadcast in dead air mode.

The good news is we were 9 of 11 from the FT line, while Rice was 3 of 3. The Lady Owls didn't go to the line much because they were running around unguarded out in open space.

Unless they just really have a bad game, Rice will win the CUSA tournament with no problem.
Rice is not very good. But CUSA absolutely sucks, so "not very good" puts you at the top of the heap.
As for the Techsters...well, this is the worst group, worst team in Techster history. Can't even make a layup. Have never seen a team that can miss layups and chippy shots like this bunch. One blown layup after another.
