LA Tech Returns to the Court to Face Rice

After having its first games of the season postponed, Louisiana Tech makes its return to the court this weekend with a two-game home series versus Rice inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court.

UAB doing what UAB does in San Antonio. Roadrunners up 28-27 at halftime.
Tech 55-27 at halftime.
UAB and North Texas now both up by 10.
Best thing about the break is Ledoux getting out of his scoring slump.

The honorary captain, George "Petey" Thornton, was a member of the 1971-72 team that averaged 101 points per game that season. Louisiana Tech scored just that on Friday night, blowing out Rice with a final score of 101-57 inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court.

I know they will not all be seniors at the same time, but I think the trio of Kenneth Lofton, Jr., Isaiah Crawford, and Cobe Williams could have the same type of impact and be fan favorites like Michael Kyser, Raheem Appleby and Speedy Smith were a few years ago.
Nice move to recognize George ‘Petey’ Thornton as a team captain.
The Dawgs were just on fire last night. VERY fun game to watch!!!! They have to come out with the same intensity today, though.
Great game. So! if we follow our pattern, after that huge blowout win, we'll struggle to eek one out today, 66-63. Any "W" is a good "W." So, I would take it. Although I hope we'll put another double-digit win on 'em.

We need to win and for UNT and UAB to lose. (yeah, duh! Captain Obvious here!). But, it is possible, and likely, that will happen.
