As sad as it is, it appears Tech is not as good as head coach Burroughs thinks. He probably needs to take our effort more seriously. We’re not going to somehow coast into the CUSA tournament without a legitimate effort. As unthinkable as it is the last time Tech was preset to host the postseason conference tournament they didn’t even qualify to play in it.

In all four wins so far Tech never faced much adversity. And in all three losses, once Tech got punched in the mouth there wasn't much fight back shown. That has to be a concern because it is now a pattern.

At least Burroughs realizes it as even he said that guys aren't responding when they are being punched in the mouth. Saying it is one thing, doing something about it is something else.

Tech's top 4 batters went 1-14 tonight. These are the guys that are obviously supposed to lead the way. With lax pitching and no clutch hitting things are looking bleak.

As per usual for Tech, we’ve got a head coach who says he’s got to do a better job and his players have to play better. All of this underachievement for teams that are supposed to have talent is getting really old around here. I guess it ultimately boils down to simply incapable and inept coaching or terrible upper management.
