Though there is no NFL Combine in Indianapolis this year, Louisiana Tech's Milton Williams earned a spot on the invite list. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NFL Scouting Combine will be done virtually with each school's Pro Day taking place of the usual workouts done in Indianapolis.

I saw on twitter he is going to be a NFL Combine star by running a 4.5 forty. That would get him paid for sure.
One mock draft has him going in the 3rd round to the Cowboys....

I think Tech fans and the local media were guilty of overlooking Williams for the most part during his stay in Ruston. I know I was. I was a little shocked when I read his career stats at Tech. Williams was a much bigger contributor here than I realized. We just didn't hear much about this guy until he "took a stand" in the UAB game, which Tech won in triple OT in 2020. As a Tech fan, I'll always be grateful to Williams for that. He cemented his legacy right there.
