An ugly win is as good as a beautiful one. Same result anyway. Anna Larr "chose" an excellent time to have a career best game. It's kind of hard to believe only three Tech players scored any points. Let's hope the whole team is firing on all cylinders the rest of the way.
No one can state that it wasn't an excited ending, at least... Anna was on fire the whole game. I think I saw that Marshall beat Rice one game this season and MTSU. If so, they are very streaky, which showed in this game too. We need Anna to play like she did yesterday, along with the others picking it up some. Walker was good, but not her best game. She came through when we needed her at the end, though, and Brianna was a bruiser for a few plays. Guinto was off her mark, but pulled down 11 rebounds to make up for it. We need everyone to win another game!
Any "W" is a good "W." And that is especially true for mediocre-loving Tech athletics. We have not won a conference championship in any of the "major" sports, of which football and MBB are definitely two. We haven't come close in WBB either. So! winning a post season tourney game IS A BIG DEAL for Tech.
Now, shock the world...well, the world wouldn't notice...shock CUSA and beat dem MTSU Lady Blue Meanies.
