Gearing up for hunting trip of a lifetime!

At least it will be for us. My brother and I are taking my dad on an elk hunt in Colorado in October. Food, backpacks, boots, good binoculars and long range glass.....I can handle that. I am looking for suggestions on clothing to purchase. The guide will tell us, “just go with Sitka.” However, I am hoping to find better options price wise since this is our first and possibly only trip to ever need the gear. Pretty sure we will need to have multiple options for layering and a plan for rain, but any help would be aporeciated.

Sitka is the best but there should be a lot of Wool for sale from those who have gone to Sitka. I know one I can check with for you. Desired sizes?

My fleece suit is a large bottom and XL jacket. Probably a 36 waist. Thankfully, I am probably the only one looking. My dad and brother are set. I may end up wearing what I have, but mostly trying to get ideas if I need to go another route. I have good base and mid layers and a good lightweight scent lock suit. I could be over thinking it.

The guy I knew who had some wool had already sold it on ebay.

Okay, thanks for checking. I am definitely going to get some merino base layers so that, hopefully, I won’t be drenched with sweat from hiking by 7:30 every morning.
Also, looking at Natural Gear for lightweight outers.
