Okay. Just seems like to me if your leading returning rusher has 115 yards, you might want Tucker back to go with Williams from Appy State. BTW Williams has 13 career catches, Tucker has 35. I am sure you understand the roster situation better than me, but if it was my decision I would have looked for space for Tucker.Because he didn’t catch the damn ball against UAB in 2019
All we can do is speculate. Here's what we know. Tucker was our best RB last year before an injury the the #1 back. He continued to produce after he FINALLY became #1. Our HC seems to dig in on who the "starter" is. We've seen it before. If I were Tucker, I'd be happy about getting my degree and move on with life. If he continues to play, he'll probably be looking for a coach who will appreciate his hard work.
From what I saw...Tucker was a damn good running back!!

PFF said it was the fastest 3-cone drill they’d ever seen from a DT. A lot of what you read on his “negatives” is about him being undersized, but Aaron Donald is the same weight and 2 inches shorter. A DT with his athleticism will do just fine in the right scheme. He made a lot of money for himself at pro day.
The ATHLETIC lists him as no.4 DL with a 2-3 round grade

Summary: Fourth year junior entry from Crowley, Texas. Two year starter that earned All-Conference USA honors both seasons, including 1st Team in 2020. Williams caught some steam this past fall. He isn’t an ever down player in every scheme, but for the hybrid fronts that want a guy that can play both 4-3 and 3-4 defensive end roles, he is going to be attractive. His hands are really heavy and he has a really stout lower half. That is always a really good place to start for a defensive lineman. His tool set may not be ideal when looking at long term projection, but he should be a serviceable option for most teams.
*Williams’ name gets mentioned a lot when I discuss defensive line with some guys. Everyone thinks he has a pro-ready game right now and he should be able to fill the hard-to-find role of CRASH end. NYG is one of the teams that looks for a guy like that. He lacks length though and it could turn them off. I question if he can truly be an effective every down guy, I see more of a backup that is good for a few snaps per game but don’t want him in there for a long time.
