My seven year old had been playing in the room where I was watching the game. Once we got under a minute, he started watching with me. When KLJr made the bucket, he went nuts. Sure, part of it is he knows I want the dawgs to win and he's glad they did, but if felt like a moment where he was invested. This is how fans are born...at least I hope.

Made for a great Sunday afternoon.

BTW, if there was ever any doubt we were gonna end up winning by 2 pts, reflect on Crawford's pass that went in accidently...2 pts. The basketball gods smiled on us a little.

Again, all that aside, great job Dawgs!
That was an amazing "shot", and was nearly a 3 pointer, which would have been even crazier. Bama clearly lost it because of free throws. Even those that shot well over the season missed, and never appeared to be comfortable at the line. I didn't care who won, but was happy for the kid that missed at the end to tie and go ahead, when the shot went in to tie for OT. That would suck to be the cause of the loss, but there was ample blame all around for missed FTs.

I always holler really loud on 3s, the kids love it.
