    Heading into the 2020 season, Louisiana Tech had one returning defensive starter.*Flash-forward to the 2021 spring practice, and Tech has 10 returning starters on the defensive side of the ball, including all three linebackers and three defensive linemen.

    Our DEFENSE should be very, very good in 2021. Lots of leadership returning. We should be strong at almost every position.

    I didn't realize until now that Willie Baker --who is returning for the 2021 season-- didn't play in 2020 at all. What was the reason for that? Did he have an injury? Or, did he simply "opt out" of playing in the 2020 season due to COVID? Either way, the addition of Baker is going to be HUGE!
