    Re: Russia

More kaput Russian motorcyclists. 300 Russians, riding two to a bike, 150 motorcycles, attempted to capture the major highway east of Pokrosk, at the small village of Marilovka. This is the same highway, similar to our interstates, that Russia had captured west of Pokrosk but has been cleared by Ukraine counterattacks. Ukraine has placed "dragon teeth" on the road that comes from the east and intersects with the highway at the village. Dragon Teeth are concrete blocks shaped like pyramids that can stop any vehicle, even tanks. But Pokrosk is the city where the stupid mayor dragged his feet constructing defenses, and only after the city was threatened were the Ukrainians able to build something of a defense, often under Russian drone and artillery attacks. Thus, the dragon teeth barrier east of the city has gaps wide enough for infantry or motorcycles to pass through. The Russians have used this knowledge to attack with motorcycles, scooters, horses (cavalry!) and on foot. During the night the Ukrans strung barb wire and other wire between the dragon teeth, effectively closing the gaps. Oops! What a mess!

The Russians came flying up the road and then spread out into 6 or 7 columns to pass through the dragon teeth...only they hit the wire instead. Ukran drones and artillery unmercilessly rained down on the hapless Russians, many hung up in the wire. Initial report says all 300 Russians are dead after about 2 hours of relentless attacks.

    Next!

First, Putin violated his own Easter 30-hour ceasefire, now the POS is proposing direct "peace" talks with Kyiv. Claims he has always been open to such direct talks. What a lying sack of chit! One YouTube channel immediately replayed Putin in a 2023 news conference where he clearly says the exact opposite, paraphrasing, he said: We will never agree to talks with Kyiv because they don't have a legitimate government. With whom are we supposed to talk? Later in 2023, Putin said: Why should we agree to talks when we are winning the war?

Now, in 2025, with Russia clearly losing the war, Putin wants to talk? Get your evil asses out of Ukraine, there is nothing to talk about.

BTW, while Putin tries to talk peace, he is still conducting his terrorist campaign. Last night Russian Shahed drones struck Odesa, again. This time hitting an "old folks home," and residential apartments. Yeah, Putin, those little old ladies represented such a big threat to Russia, had to take them out, eh.

And this...among the killed in Putin's Palm Sunday terrorist attack on Sumy City were 12 kindergarteners, ages 5-7. Ukraine has released the photos of those 12 beautiful kids. Makes my blood boil. But, yeah, I get it. Putin is the good guy, President Z the bad guy.

    Re: Russia

Putin's largest missile storage facility, known as the 51st GRAU, about 100 miles northeast of Moscow, just went kaboom! Multiple sources, YouTube channels and others, are all releasing video of the huge explosion. The strike occurred several hours ago. One video is a Russian civilian using his phone to record the distant mushroom cloud and loud explosion, he comments: this is a nuke, must be the Americans! No on both of those.

Local anti-Putin partisans, working closely with Ukran special forces, have been watching this facility closely, waiting for a chance to hit it. This is a hardened depot, with underground storage warehouses. Ukraine does not have access to a MOAB "bunker buster" that could penetrate the very thick reinforced concrete casings. No sense wasting weapons, and time, trying to hit it from above. But, the facility has large steel doors which allows trucks to come and go carrying the various warheads/missiles. You guessed it! Sitting nearby, carefully concealed by the anti-Putin partisans, were large Ukrainian drones, the kind that can carry 500+ pound bombs. So, when the Russians left the doors opened for a spell, in went the drones...KABOOM! The facility is still exploding several hours into the attack as the munitions "cook off" inside.

Kanal 13, one of the YouTubers I follow, offered guesses on exactly what the Russians had stored in the facility. Whatever it was, it is all gone now.

    Good job!

    Re: Russia

Columbian troops, a grenadier battalion, about 280 soldiers, has been attached to the Ukrainian elite 47th Armored Brigade, and they have been inserted into the Ukran forces in Belgorod. The 47th was huge in Kursk for many months, taking and holding the northwestern sector of the Kursk salient at its peak. The 47th was withdrawn about a week before the general withdrawal, pullback, by Ukraine in Kursk. The Columbian troops have already impressed observers with their discipline and skills as soldiers. These soldiers have been fighting insurgents and drug cartels in the jungles of Columbia for years. There are 2,000 more Columbian soldiers still in Columbia waiting for the finances to make the trip to Ukraine. Once on the ground Ukraine pays foreign fighters $3,000/month, but these mercenaries have to get to Ukraine on their own dime. I have an idea how to spend some of the $2.2 billion withheld from Harvard.

ANKA Dailey News, YouTube Channel, is covering the growing unrest in Russia. These are anti-war, anti-Putin protestors tired of Putin's illegal war and tired of all the negatives connected to the war. Villages have put up signs with the list of names of their young men killed in the war. And the people are tired of the loss of everyday conveniences, like power/Internet services, food in the local markets, and the destruction of infrastructure like roads, bridges, and railroad service.

    Re: Russia

The latest on the peace agreement..

Looks like Trump et al, and thus the US, will soon be out of the picture, which some of you will applaud. Every aspect, every detail of the "US" proposal has been rejected by all sides. All sides being: Russia, Ukraine, and the EU (European Union). VP Vance said recently, if the US proposal is not acceptable then the US will walk away, wash our hands of this matter.

In case you don't know the US proposal is for Crimea to be recognized, permanently, as part of Russia, the territory currently held by Russia and Ukraine will be "locked in" pending, maybe, future agreements, and for the EU to immediately lift all sanctions on Russia during the negotiation period, which includes a total ceasefire, and no NATO membership for Ukraine. In other words, just about, maybe 90% of exactly what Putin wants to happen, and 0% of what Ukraine wants to happen. I will stop short of accusing Trump of being a Russian agent, because I know that is BS, but one can readily see why it appears that way to the rest of world.

At least now, Trump does get what he really wanted all along, Europe to take the lead in the Ukraine matter. By insisting on such stupid terms for the agreement Trump had to know it would be rejected by all sides. If the proposal leans so heavily in favor of Putin, why would he reject it? Because Putin does NOT want a comprehensive ceasefire, and he still wants 100% of the 6 eastern provinces of Ukraine. The only province he completely occupies right now is Crimea. Trump threw in enough details to piss off Putin too.

So, like master manipulator, Trump has maneuvered all sides into what he wanted: let them hash it out, and as a bonus, the US can stop sending $millions worth of military aid to Ukraine. This is MY TAKE on this, and I bet I am very close to being right.

    Re: Russia

Three car bombs exploded all within a few minutes of each other in separate places in the heart of Moscow, and all within a few miles of the Kremlin. One was in a parking garage of a downtown shopping mall, the other two were near a government building and close to an apartment complex where government workers reside. No reports of injuries (yet) and the damage appears to be light. The genius Moscow Chief of Police actually said, "this does not appear to be accident and is probably a planned attack." Ya think!?

In the "Zaporia" oblast the Russians were slaughtered again. Seems Putin is growing more desperate to seize as much territory as possible before some kind of peace deal. A peace deal he has already rejected. So....hmmm. Anyway, lately the Russians have returned to the stupid tactics of "meat wave" assaults across open ground straight into well-prepared Ukrainian defenses. The latest such blunder occurred earlier today and resulted in the loss of 50 vehicles, a mix of tanks (older models), IFVs, APCs, and an array of civilian vehicles pressed into service. Early reports claim the Russians suffered some 400 KIA and another 200-300 wounded/captured. The total casualty figure of 700 is probably exaggerated because initial assessments estimate how many soldiers could be inside of a vehicle, which is totally destroyed, no survivors. So the guesstimate might assign 15 dead when only maybe 7 soldiers were in the vehicle kaboomed. Regardless of the actual numbers, there are not enough living Russian souls to continue the attack.

More video released from the giant "KABOOM" at the 51st GRAU ammo depot. Shells were propelled some 6 miles in all directions into neighboring villages, some exploded but many were inactivated shells. i.e. warhead not armed but slammed into houses and roads. One villager videoed a shell buried three feet in a road, an asphalt road. About 20% of the GRAU depot survived as part of it sat across a wide canal. There are buildings, barracks, and warehouses with more stored ammo. Hopefully the Ukrans will strike it too.

Putin struck Kyiv with drones and missiles. Ukrainian officials say there were a total of 240 in the attack. All of the strikes hit purely civilian targets, such as apartments, a mall, houses. Nothing of any military value.

Ukraine needs to flatten the Kremlin, reduce it to rubble.

Sweden continues to shine delivering for Ukraine. Swedes are sending 15 more F-16s and 12 patrol/attack boats. The boats are 18’ long, fiberglass, fast! 42 knots and can carry a variety of weapons, including rockets and an auto cannon.

Denmark reacted to the latest Trump misstep by saying “Trump can go f**k himself.” Oh those Danes..,😳

    Re: Russia

Another change to Ukraine's reorganization announced today. The 12th National Guard Brigade is now leading the newly formed 1st Azov Army Corps, and they are joined by the newly formed 20th Brigade which has at its core a battalion from the 3rd Assault (Azov) Brigade. Three new battalions are being brigaded to form this new 20th Brigade. Joining these two brigades are the 14th Special Assault Brigade, and the 15th Infantry Brigade, and finally the very elite 1st Presidential Infantry Brigade. Five infantry brigades totaling 22,000 soldiers.

No word on how the 3rd Army Corps will now look since the 12th National Guard Brigade was originally a part of it. Most likely another brigade will be assigned to the 3rd Corps.

This shuffling is to be expected as Ukraine has not had divisions or corps before, the brigade has been the single largest unit. President Z named a new overall army commander General Olek Syrsky and has given him the authority to make changes as he sees fit. Syrsky has commanded at the brigade level and was in overall command in Kharkiv during that very successful campaign. He is known as the "Snow Leopard."

    Re: Russia

Three more high-ranking Russian generals have been killed, assassinated for sure in the recent case, all in the past week. General Malik, deputy commander of Russian ground forces, had been summoned to Moscow for a meeting. He exits the hotel where he had stayed the night, gets into his private car, and kaboom! He and his driver are killed. Another Russian general, who Putin had been criticizing on public TV for his lousy performance, fell 14 floors to his death, not out a window this time, but over a railing to the lobby floor of a high-rise government apartment. Guess he was leaning over the 4-foot high railing and just fell!

The single biggest loss for Russia was the death of a colonel, lieutenant commander of the Russian 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment. He was taken out by a Ukrainian HIMARS strike on his HQ. The 30th has been one of the truly effective Russian units, holding their own and winning tactical fights many times. They have been operating in the Donetsk Oblast the past two years and when Russia accomplishes something significant on the battlefield, the 30th Regiment was involved. The colonel and 6 other officers, plus 12 staffers were killed in the strike.

Ukraine seized/detained a Russian cargo ship. Upon a search of the vessel over 5,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian wheat was found. The crew was detained, no injuries. The ship entered the Black Sea via the Danube River, coming from the Russian-occupied portion of Moldovia. The Ukrans used a British-donated patrol boat to stop the ship.

    Re: Russia

Ukraine has pulled back more in Kursk, they are down to about 40 square miles, half of what they held last week. This is part of the deliberate, slow withdrawal planned by Ukraine and effectively announced over 6 months ago. They are purposely being methodical for three reasons: 1) to protect the units in Kursk, a rapid unorganized withdrawal would allow the Russians to strike troops in the open as they withdraw from defensive works, 2) to continue to tie down Russian units (and North Koreans) in Kursk, and 3) to continue to inflict losses on Putin's forces. Each time Ukraine conducts a carefully orchestrated withdrawal from a line, like trenches, the Russians eagerly rush forward and always walk into traps. Boobytraps, mines, and FPV drones await the Russians and dozens, scores, even hundreds of Russians pay the price.

Putin gleefully announced, on Russian network TV, the recent occupation of formerly held Ukrainian defensive works. He touts it like it was some great victory. Putin propagandists, YouTubers, also rejoice and claim this is a sign Russia is "winning the war!" Riiiight.. - Dr. Evil
