    Re: Russia

Putin is using prisoners as shields resulting in countless deaths. This is a violation of the Geneva Convention and makes Putin a war criminal.

Armenia has told Putin to keep his military out, joining the ever-growing list of countries who are rebuffing Putin.

The Ukrans have sunk another Russian ship. This one a frigate which went up the Dnipro River. The Russkies, who have been throttled in the land battle, brought the ship in to lend artillery support, with its guns and missiles, but fell victim to Ukranian artillery. Another one bites the dust!

Russians hit a fireworks factory during the capture of Soledar last night. Now that was a spectacle.

Was it a factory or just a warehouse? Most fireworks are made in China.

Either way, it was full of fireworks that shot off everywhere. Not quite as spectacular as the 2012 San Diego Big Bay Boom but still.

Putin chalks this up as a win. Said the Ukrans were going to shoot Roman Candles at his troops...not anymore.

    Re: Russia

Former Wagner commander Andrei Medvedez, reported as a KIA, has shown up in Norway seeking asylum. He deserted after witnessing horrific war crimes and the shooting of deserters.

The official propaganda media for Putin is reporting the capture of Soledar, a small coal-mining town 8 miles north of Bakhmut, the site of on-going brutal fighting. But, just yesterday, Ukrainian TV showed video of its soldiers still holding the town, with a quip from one Ukran officer, "Where are the Russians? We are here in Soledar, I don't see Russians."

A soon-to-be dead Russian journalist, Maxim Yusin, on the TV show, Pravo Znat (Right to Know), has challenged the assertions made by the Putin media on the results vs. the stated goals for the invasion of Ukraine. Yusin went line by line in the statement provided by Putin February, 2022. Now one year later, none of the goals have been met and the situation in Ukraine, and in Russia domestically, has only gotten worse. Look for Maixm Yusin to "accidently" fall from a window soon.

    Re: Russia

What's that old saying: war makes for strange bedfellows.

That is playing out in Ukraine. There are actually multiple examples but to touch on one, anti-west Muslim terrorists fighting on "our side" against Putin. Yeppers!

Chechens hate Putin and Russia. Of course, this stems from the war in 1994 during which the Russians attacked and brutally crushed the Chechen uprising, seeking complete independence. Desperate for allies Putin made an agreement with a Chechen leader promising all kinds of considerations in exchange for Chechens going to Ukraine to fight FOR Putin. The Russians provided arms and logistics but once there the Chechens quickly joined with the Ukrans, save one small brigade which chose to remain loyal to Putin and their agreement. That Chechen brigade has been completely wiped out, set up in an ambush by other Chechens who turned on their countrymen along with Ukran forces. Now all Chechens in Ukraine are fighting with the Ukrans against their hated enemy, Putin.

Muslim fighters are flocking to Ukraine to join in the fight against Putin and in support of the Chechens who still want complete independence from Russia. A recent report revealed that hardened Muslim fighters from Syria, some of them former members of ISIS, are now in Ukraine killing Russians. These guys are brutal, care nothing for the "silly" Geneva Convention, and just kill, kill, and kill some more. The Russians are terrified of them. Some of these Chechen and Syrian Muslim "terrorists" are using western, including US, equipment supplied to them by the Ukrans.

The issue is not the present, it is the future. It is guaranteed that after Putin/Russia is defeated in Ukraine and kicked out, these same Muslim forces with a renewed confidence and determination will attempt to parlay Russia's defeat into a Muslim movement to take over territory and create problems for non-Muslims and peace-loving, westernized Muslims, like the Kurds. I think the focus of this soon-to-be conflict will be in Chechia where the Russians will be forced, again, to invade and try to put down the uprising, as they did in 1994. The Chechens may call on western nations, especially Ukraine, to support them militarily as payback for their intervention in Ukraine now, but I doubt that will happen. Funny thing, should this happen, we'll be rooting FOR the Russians to prevail in that conflict. Regardless, these newly armed and battle-hardened Muslim fighters will return to places like Syria and renew their war against anyone not a hardened, fundamentalist Muslim.

    Strange bedfellows indeed.

    Re: Russia

Here's a funny story! Seems several Russian soldiers were tired of the war and wanted to go home. They were manning a checkpoint along a major supply road just inside of Ukraine. So, they called a taxi service. Yes, they phoned a taxi company in their home town and they sent a cab 300 miles to fetch the disgruntled soldiers. Hope those soldiers gave the cabbie a good tip.

    Re: Russia

    The Wagner Group

a professional, private army (mercenaries) with its corporate headquarters in Argentina. The Wagner commander in Ukraine is General Prigozhin who, it is said, is now more powerful than Putin and may soon be ruler of Russia. Whether that is true, or not, it is true Putin cannot win the war in Ukraine without Wagner and more and more the international Wagner organization...partially funded by the George Soros Foundation in parts of the world...is losing interest in continuing in Ukraine. Also, Medvedez is prepared to offer documented evidence of horrific war crimes which will brand Wagner as an international terrorist organization. Then the whole world will effectively declare war on Wagner rendering them useless to Putin. Right now the corporate Wagner Organization operates around the world as any other international company does, securing licenses to operate in foreign countries, having the right to use airports and sea ports, etc..but once branded a terrorist organization, all of that ends. Wagner has been involved in a dozen conflicts around the world, like for instance, the civil war in Madagascar last year.

NATO analysts say the Wagner units are Putin's best operating in Ukraine, much better than the pathetic regular Russian army with its unwilling draftees. If Wagner goes, Putin is cooked.

Per usual, you attack with lies for no reason.

I asked where you came up with that statement because Russia banned his organization in 2015.

You need to get out more, or maybe just read some more.

Who the hell said anything about Russia in connection to Soros? Wasn't me. I said Soros in connection with Wagner. Maybe you have a reading comprehension issue.
