The Crimea Bridge, linking Crimea to Russia, is a critical link in the Russian supply line. In this video you see Russian military vehicles crossing, until...

No one has claimed credit for the attack, but it was most likely Ukrainian operatives.

I see Russia is using Iranian made kamikaze drones to attack Ukraine.
I bet those things cost a plane full of cash delivered in the dead of night to make.

It is really unraveling for the Russkies. Lots of stories coming out of Ukraine and also in Russia itself. Mutiny in recently drafted units, explosions rocking military bases and also a huge explosion in St. Petersburg, thought to be a military installation/supply base.
And news is another Russian "flagship" has been attacked, severely damaged and possibly sunk or knocked out of action. The Russians are denying the leaked story saying the ship experienced a "mishap" unrelated to an attack and suffered minimal damage and casualties. But then the Russkies have denied other setbacks that turned out to be 100% true. So, we'll see.

Usually the initial news is sketchy, at best, with details filled in later.
Battle for Bakhmut
In brutal fighting a small Ukrainian unit, the 93rd Brigade, is dug in and holding the line around the historically important city of Bakhmut. It sits astride an important north-south highway and would be strategically important for that reason, under other circumstances, but the Ukrans have already captured and hold the towns on both ends, north and south of Bakhmut. But now "it's a matter of pride" says one Ukran commander. The Russians realize the town has no value to them and are not wasting men trying to take it. Instead, the Russians are sacrificing hired mercenaries, Wagner's, in futile attacks against the Ukran lines and then using long range artillery to hit Ukran positions. Those artillery strikes are causing casualties. Reports have ambulances coming and going carrying wounded Ukran soldiers to field hospitals. For their part the Ukrans utilize drones with extreme effectiveness to target masses of the mercenaries and to also occasionally take out Russian artillery batteries. "It's a stalemate," says one Ukran commander, "but we're not leaving."
Western military observers say for the deployment of relativity few troops, the under-strength 93rd Brigade, the Ukrans are being a real thorn in the side of the Russians and their loyalist Donetsk militias, tying up troops and resources that could be better used elsewhere. It is home to a large salt mine and is known for producing the finest sparkling wines in Eastern Europe. Maybe that's why the Russkies want to capture Bakhmut...they need a drink.

Recent confirmed numbers...
On Sunday 200+ Wagner ("Vagner") mercenaries were killed in the fighting swirling around Bakhmut, this included the Deputy Commander of the unit. Also, on Sunday, in fighting in southern Ukraine, 70 Russian soldiers were killed, and a dozen vehicles destroyed, including 4 tanks.
One hour ago, November 2, 2022, sources say over 600 Wagner and Russian regulars were killed in a massive ambush. The number of wounded is estimated to be 1,000+. There is drone video footage of the attack which shows a barrage of French-built artillery rockets raining down and blanketing an area of some 6 square miles. It is reported Russian and Wagner units were massing in a wooded area east of Bakhmut lured there, and told it was safe, by a local working as a double agent. Apparently the Russkies were convinced the Ukrans had no artillery targeted on the woods and it would be safe to mass there. This report is brand new and remains unconfirmed by western sources, except it is confirmed there was some kind of rocket attack on the woods.

Russkies tucked their tails and retreated from Kherson. Not only does this liberate another Ukrainian city, but now allows the Ukrans to advance within artillery range of the critical 3-mile-wide land bridge that connects the mainland to Crimea. Soon, the Russkies will not be able to use the land bridge further cutting off those Russkies units desperately holding on in southern Ukraine. This defeat at Kherson is the worst setback for the Russian military in a generation.

Even Milley is now pushing for a peace deal, I guess using Kherson as leverage. Apparently our ammo stocks are being depleted faster than expected also.
Remains to be seen how the FTX blowup will affect the war; apparently Ukraine was heavily "invested" in it.
A former, now dead, Russian officer was brutally executed, and his disgusting execution was videoed and released as a warning to others. Apparently, this officer had defected to Ukraine and was later captured by Russian Special Forces. I'll spare you the gory details.
