I could use a few of those "mean" tweets along with the best economy in history, low inflation, protected borders, controlled immigration, and a transparent government.

Biden/Harris continues to ignore this crisis as 60,000 come in illegally and 20,000+ children are in storage units.

Border Patrol has released more than 60,000 migrants into US under Biden
Migrants are often being released without court dates, told instead to report to ICE offices.

And now this from Biden’s Iranian daddy.

Iran blocks watchdog access to nuclear site images

    May 23, 2021 @ 10:59

Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf announced on Sunday that the International Atomic Energy Agency would no longer have access to images of its nuclear sites from fixed cameras. In December, parliament passed a bill to suspend the watchdog’s access to those images if European signatories of the 2015 nuclear accord failed to provide the Islamic Republic with relief from oil and banking sanctions by a three-month deadline. This step, coming after the enrichment of uranium far beyond the limits set by the nuclear deal, ratchets up Iran’s negotiating stance in the Vienna talks to renegotiate the deal.

Ya know...the Persians have been trouble-makers for, well, their whole existence! The reason Alexander the Great led his Macedonian army into Persia, around 300 B.C., was to destroy the Persian empire, break it up, and to end its meddling in world affairs. It's eye-opening to see that Persia (Iran) has not changed a bit in over 2,000 years. They are still using the same playbook that kings Darius I, Xeres, and Darius II used all those centuries ago.

Alas, Alexander, after crushing the Persians in two battles, lost sight of his original objective and left Persia in the hands of some of his weak advisors and marched his army into India, for more conquest. Should have stayed, solidified his control and finished the job.

The Persians are like leopards, will never change their spots. They need to be crushed out of existence.

    Prophesied by God.

    Genesis 16:11-12

11The angel of the Lord also said to her:

    “You are now pregnant
and you will give birth to a son.
You shall name him Ishmael, a
for the Lord has heard of your misery.
    12He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
    and everyone’s hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
    toward all his brothers.”

(totally off-topic, but you started it...)
so alexander's motivation in crushing the persians was to end their meddling in world affairs, and not to control the largest empire of history up to that point?

Yes, Alexander took his army into Persia because they had been wielding political influence...buying off rulers of countries to do their bidding, for instance. But! what really irritated Alexander was Persia's involvement in Greek politics. The Persians had managed to buy off local politicians of the many city-states in Greece who then voted against Greek interests often in favor of Persian interests instead. In many cases the Persians bought influence such that their merchants were given favor in Greek ports over that of other Greeks. (always follow the money). Alexander's father, ruler of Macedonia, was a loyal, "nationalist" Greek who thought Greece should stand united against outsiders. He had already won allies in this regard and then he was assassinated by a group of the unscrupulous Greek politicians, supported by Persian money who hired the assassins.

Alexander was...19...I think, when this happened. He became ruler of Macedonia and vowed revenge and to end Persian tampering in world affairs. His army of 30,000 men defeated...no crushed! the Persian army, numbering close to 150,000 in two battles. The second defeat led the Persian ruler, Darius II, into internal exile where his political enemies found him and assassinated him.

As for your other comment...there is no comparison to what Israel has to do to survive and what Iran does to advance their evil ways.
