Hopefully the USM-WKU game is another 5-hour affair+ and hey! maybe they can set the inning record...let's play 15 innings Eagles & Toppers! Will get to watch a beautiful sunrise from Love Field!
My guess is we’ll go whorff game 3 now and save cade for game 4 but who knows. Our pitching is all over the place so it is truly a guess.

That’s what I’m thinking, but any game can change the whole strategy in these tournaments. Just have to focus on winning the one you’re playing and reevaluate when it’s over.

Perfect game broken up in the 6th.
Shutout broken up in the 8th with two doubles. 6-1 USM after 7 1/2.
USM gets 5 in the 8th with a grand slam to end it 11-1.
That was a heart pounder and the finish was too exciting for me to sleep after. We need to jump out to a lead against Southern Miss today and keep it! We are not playing our best, but I hope this gives us some confidence.

Looked like right around 3am. The Southern Miss Twitter account posted a video of the walk off hit at 3:06am.
Were fans allowed to sit/stand in the left field concourse or was that area blocked off?
I hope it messed up the Southern Miss players sleep pattern. We will be tired from 12 innings and they will be tired from lack of sleep. We have to start strong and keep it going, because they will wake up in about the 3rd inning, but we will be worn out. Going to be a tough game!

LOL!You worry too much about the small stuff, Champ. Remember, these players are 18 to 23 yrs old. They can get back in game mode much quicker than old guys with old bones, like me and you.
