I still don’t know why you don’t bunt the runners over. You would have had runners on 2nd and 3rd with only one out. That puts huge pressure on the pitcher. Any batter from 1 to 9 at this level should be able to bunt.

So, we decided to trade places with UTSA and use a dozen pitchers tonight. This is good.
Burroughs will find a way to coach his team to meaningful loses no matter what he has to do. Under the circumstances last inning he should’ve had Bates bunting. A runner on 3rd with 1 out would’ve won the game.
