Pelosi hand-picked one (House Sergeant-at-Arms) of the two votes out of three on the Capitol Police Board required to approve any request. Marble Mouth was in charge of hand-picking another vote (Senate Sergeant-at-Arms). The Board refused the request from Capitol Police for any additional deployment.

If Pelosi had wanted the additional deployment of National Guard that had already been authorized by President Trump, it almost certainly would have happened. Marble Mouth was just being a useful idiot as usual.

Yeah, LATER the Guard was mobilized to "protect" Pelosi and gang from "roving right-wing groups." And that Guard was housed in a parking garage and complained bitterly about, not only their treatment, but for the bogus reason they were called out.

As for January 6th President Trump did call for the Guard to be deployed and was denied by Mayor Bowers and Pelosi, because of the plot to conduct their own riot and blame Trump and his supporters. None of this is in dispute. The facts are clear.

Exactly. Pelosi had nothing to do with it. The Capitol Police Chief asked the Capital Police Board to declare an emergency and authorize a request to secure National Guard support; and the Board said no while encouraging him to get in touch anyway to see if the National Guard could respond if necessary. As you are very much aware (giving you the benefit of the doubt), the Speaker is not on the Capital Police Board.

There's no "additional deployment" that was "authorized" by Trump.

Trump did not call for the National Guard to be deployed, unless you want to count him wondering if he could get the DC National Guard to provide security for him as he "marched" on the Capitol himself in a grand procession/parade. Trump consented to activating the DC National Guard to support the DC Police for crowd control and traffic control. That's all he did. That's what the 340 I mentioned in the other post turned into. The origins of that request is not from Trump. It came from the DC Mayor and DC's HSEMA (not DHS, I mistyped earlier). The DC Mayor and Speaker didn't deny anything. None of this is in dispute. The facts are clear.

As I posted, Pelosi controlled the votes on the Capitol Police Board. Control of the votes means she had EVERYTHING to do with it.

Regarding Trump's deployment request, that request claim has been substantiated by numerous witnesses.
