LA Tech Lands QB Transfer

I am being told that LA Tech coach Skip Holtz has reached an agreement with a Sr/Graduate Transfer QB from a P5 school. The QB sat down with Holtz in Ruston yesterday, and committed to LA Tech. He will report to Tech on July 6th. I apologize in advance, but I promised to not post the QB's name on BB&B for a couple of more days. I did not get this info from LA Tech sources, rather I got this info from personal friends who know the QB personally, and hosted him in their home this weekend.

The good news is, Tech fans may have some light at the end of the QB tunnel for 2021. If nothing else, it should be fun watching someone new compete for the QB1 job. Obviously more info --including the QB's name-- will come out over the next few days. But for those wondering if Holtz has a QB trick up his sleeve for 2021, the answer is, it appears so.

No reason to bring in someone isn’t a clear starter from day 1. Will only upset the locker room and we may lose Head or Holstein. Those two are going to be good.
