You're comparing NIL + nothing (or tuition) to nothing + salary.
She can still get endorsements and sell autographs and so forth on top of a WNBA salary. So it sounds like a bigger thing, and maybe the main point still sticks, but it's an incomplete comparison when you hear it like that.
Did I see that the Univ of Texas is in trouble for NIL violations? If so, what do you have to do to get in trouble in a system without rules?
