I'm expecting we will get spanked by about five TD's so I can be pleasantly surprised if we "compete" to make it anything less.
We will go up 14-0 in the first quarter. That's when you can talk yourself into it.
We don't score again for the rest of the game until a field goal late in the 4th to make it 17-45
If we can run the football with a moderate amount of success, I think we can have a respectable game. If we don’t, we get beat by at least 5 scores.
Skip will keep the playbook conservative until Austin is comfortable in the offense, so we must be able to run the ball. Got a new Center, new RB’s, rebuilt OL with a new Center, questions at WR. On the road in a SEC stadium for the first game of the year. It will be interesting to see how the offense performs in game 1, but I’m not optimistic that we score enough to win it.
On a brighter note, I think the defense will be much improved over last year.
