I think we should allow them to stay in the running. Since our coach considers all P5 games nothing more than a meaningless scrimmage, it shouldn’t count against them.

We think alike. Just get to a meaningless bowl game that 2000 of our finest gold parkers are able to attend. Those 2000 control and ignore.
At the end of the season, if LA Tech's only loss was to Mississippi State 35-34, in the opening game of the season, this team still has a very good chance to make a NY6 Bowl. But we've got to win all the rest.

If we don’t lose key players to injury, there’s not another game on the schedule that’s not winnable. That’s if Holtz will allow the playmakers that he brought in to actually go out and COMPETE. His idea of compete and mine are not the same.
