If we don’t lose key players to injury, there’s not another game on the schedule that’s not winnable. That’s if Holtz will allow the playmakers that he brought in to actually go out and COMPETE. His idea of compete and mine are not the same.

Anything less than finishing the season ranked in the top 25 will continue to bore our fan base.

We just lost a game to a bad team who gave us the ball 6 extra times. That's almost impossible, but Skip found a way to make it happen.

Don't bet on it. Mike Leach teams typically play way up one week and way down the next. The whole season is usually a roller coaster ride for his fans.

I had predicted 7-5. With UTSA, UAB, and NC State probable losses, that's 5, so have to run the table, with no WTFs, in the others. I don't see that happening, so I am revising to 6-6.

I believe we will hit 7-5 and, possibly 8-4. I don't see many other teams as good as the ones we just played. We were 2 ending plays from winning those, which would have us at 3-0 right now. It is still possible to win the West, but we need some better coaching decisions in the 4th quarters. I believe we have the talent. There will be some toss ups at the end of most of these games. If our team doesn't fall victim to being too disappointed, talent alone could win us plenty of these coming up. North Texas should be a win this next weekend. If it isn't, I will be changing my prediction....

We could just as easily be 0-3. You’re right though, the talent is there, we just need a HC that can not collapse in the 4th quarter.
