His antics the night Moo State clobbered us...including the infamous 87 yard fumble play...sealed what I have always thought of him. He's a jerk.

I concur, he may be the greatest HC in the country, but his actions the night at the LA TECH game were not a solitary occurrence.

Those folks at Troy are simply unreasonable. You can't fire a coach because he hasn't won a championship in his first 3 years....ah, can you?

The coach was well aware of the expectations. Wonder what the expectations are with Tech?

"Ultimately, we fell short of our goal of producing a championship-winning team," Lindsey said in the statement.

Shorthorns are 4-7 now, and they can't stop Horns Down from being flashed after games are over.

If the Horns are favored over Kansas State at home Friday morning, it is only because of the homefield advantage. If Texas manages to win, do they stoop so low as to play their high APR number in the 5-7 APR Bowl Sweepstakes?

K State played Baylor pretty tough. Not sure Texas can be competitive after halftime with the wildcats.

Just saw a report on that. UF has narrowed their wish list to Lane Kiffin, Mike Stoops, and Napier, with Napier considered the leading candidate. Damn! can't believe Skippy was not on their list.

Yeah I predicted that to one of the trolls yesterday.

    Double whammy for Louisiana schools.

First, ULaLa loses a very good coach. It is going to be very difficult for them to replace him with someone who will be as successful as he has been.

Second, LSU really dropped the ball. They fired Orgeron several weeks ago. Orgeron is no doubt the best recruiter of Louisiana out there. Now another great recruiter of talent in the state, appears to be the man at a top 10-15 job and will be able to build a pipeline of Louisiana talent right to Gainesville.

Makes you wonder what the plan is in Baton Rouge?

Maybe they will offer Jimbo, what $13-15 million or more per year?

Also expect Sonny to TCU in a few days.

The TCU story has been on the local sports radio for about a week now, so it’s got to be soon.
