If they are smart, USC will hire former Texas Head Coach Tom Herman. That guy was and is good. Herman is a much better coach than his replacement, the "drunk" former Head coach of USC, Steve Sarkisian. I still can't understand why Texas wanted Sarkisian so badly? Maybe they like losing to Arkansas?

Meanwhile Sarkisian is doing pretty good. I think Texas is about 4-5.

That was out a few weeks ago, every one knew the Butch Davis contract was up and there had been no offers to extend. That made it obvious he would not be staying around.

I suspect they will b just fine in basketball. Chris Beard is a top 5 coach and he is just starting his dream job.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a Final 4 for the Longhorns BEFORE they officially join the sec.
