Anybody notice that we are back to playing 3 game conference series?
I had not even noticed until we had the "long baseball Saturday" discussion last weekend.
Yes, last year had 8 conference series (4 games each). This year we have 10 x 3.
Great to have the opportunity to set up for a true midweek starter.

At this point, nothing would shock me. I do not drink myself, but it is a facet of the in game experience that we need to add. I hope they holier than though people who drink in their living room don’t shut it down.
I don't think that's the issue since already available in the suites and the DAC, the Waggoner Room at the TAC and last year in the 3rd base room
There are a lot of hoops to jump through to upgrade the current liquor license to the one where beer sales to the general public in all athletic facilities is concerned - it may even be a totally separate license

Think we could organize beer sales in our venues? We can't organize coffee and hot chocolate sales on a night when we had days to prepare for cold weather and months to prepare for a sell out.

Yeah, but if you can master the beer sales, then, in theory, everything else will be fine. They’ll forget about coffee, hot chocolate, and water after the 3rd or 4th Bud.

Lane Burroughs confirming that Tech and Marshall will play a double header on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
There will be no game on Sunday
He confirmed that Monday night
Game time for Friday has been moved up an hour to 1:00 PM CT (2:00 PM ET). Saturday's doubleheader starts at 10:00 AM CT (11:00 AM ET).
Sunset in Huntington is just after 8:00 PM ET.

There are numerous football fields surrounding the baseball field. And at least two of them actually have lights.
Several of those fields look to have reduced dimensions that would be used for youth football. The rumor of playing on the baseball field appears to have been fake news.
But the biggest traffic jam in Huntington Saturday morning is likely going to be on the one road getting in and out of that complex.
They gave the coaches $20 and a pizza voucher
