If Holtz didn’t win with the players he had the last 5-6 years leading into last year, COVID-19 season was weird all around, he won’t ever win one here.

He has shown he can’t recruit or coach a QB that hasn’t spent 3-4 years with a real coach first. If you are a young recruit, especially on offense, would you want to come play for Holtz?

No. Holtz couldn’t win a championship with Manny Diaz as his DC. He couldn’t win a championship with a team full of future NFL players. It’s not about philosophy, it’s just that Holtz is a loser. Spread, West Coast, Wing T or Air Raid, it don’t matter with Holtz. He will find a way to lose.
