Barnes does not have the leg for kickoffs. Period. Unless the call is for a squib kick, keep him on the side. But the way Tech covers (not) squib kicks, forget those. Skippy is being way too cute with Tech kickoffs.

We should be kicking in the end zone every single time- why give them opportunities? It makes no sense to do anything different.

My thought is basically the same -

It's hard to score from a dead ball at the 25 yd line, but what do I know?

Seems like he doesn't get it into the endzone consistently. Maybe it's because he's trying to place it in the corner of the endzone, not sure. I might be wrong, but I think I remember one being brought out of the endzone for a long return too.

We did have one brought out from 2-3 yards into the EZ that was a long return. I was told that everything out kickers do(outside of Miss and attempt) is at the instruction of the coach. I think we make a lot more stops inside the 25 than giving up long returns if we consistently put it in the EZ.
