Almost 40 American citizens and lawful permanent residents left behind from President Biden’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan were evacuated Friday by a volunteer civilian group..

Thirty-nine American citizens and lawful residents were evacuated from the war-torn country Friday and arrived at New York City's JFK airport on Saturday morning thanks to the volunteer group Project Dynamo, according to the New York Post.

Project Dynamo receives funding from Save Our Allies, which is affiliated with The Independence

Just read an article on the whole Aghan disaster. The writer, mostly a conservative-leaning fellow, which is why I read his stuff, was not kind to anyone. From George Bush to obummer to Trump and OMG to Biden! he dissed them all to a certain extent. Afghanistan is an AMERICAN failure and abject foreign policy disaster.

Each POTUS during the process did at least one thing right, and also acted with little choice on his options at the time. It is a fair analysis of the 20+ years we were there. Oh, until he gets to Biden...and then he has nothing good to say. Biden screwed the pooch. Yes, Biden got "us" out of Afghanistan...only, he didn't. There are still 60,000 "Americans" abandoned there. 60K????!!!! Well, that according to independent sources which include American citizens, those holding visas, and those promised we wouldn't leave them behind. To date official sources have recorded "only" 72 executions by the Taliban of said American operatives. But they are not finished...

Further....and this comes from my inside sources...we still have American military on the ground in Afghanistan. These are special ops/forces who volunteered to stay or to go back in after Biden's big showboating "withdrawal."

In the big picture, from Bush to obummer to Trump to Biden, this has been a huge failure. Of course, anyone who bothers to study a little history would have predicted this unmitigated disaster. I have posted some summaries of historical events, from Alexander the Great's defeat there, to the British disaster in the 19th Century leading to their hurried retreat out of that place, to the Soviets who only stayed for 10 years, history is ripe with examples.

Those who ignore history are condemned to repeat it.
