Though it's not over yet, it appears that Cincinnati has failed Skip Holtz' "4th Qtr collapse" class.
Leading 17-13, after missing 2 FG's and letting Notre Dame score 13 unanswered points in 2nd half, Cincinnati finally marched 70 yards down field THROWING PASSES and scored a third TD for the day by running a QB keeper with only 5 min left. Cincinnati now leads Notre Dame, 24-13, with 2::25 left. And they just sacked the Irish QB at mid field.
It's refreshing to see a team actually play 4 quarters.
Cincinnati beat Notre Dame, 24-13.
Will Rogers went off tonight. No not the cowboy, I am talking about Mississippi State’s QB. 46-59 for 408 yards, and 3 touchdowns in a 26-22 win over Texas A&M.
Methinks Jimbo was selling fools gold over in College Station. $9.5 million seems a little high for what a fourth or fifth place finish in your division. What do the rest of you think?
Glad to see Liberty blow out UAB in their stadium opener. Enjoy being a bottom feeder in the AAC!
War Eagle!
Two best plays of the day: 1) Bo Nix tormenting the tiggers on that 4th down impossible escape/touchdown, and 2) that goofy fumbling, bumbling, stumbling play in the Troy-SC game.
Auburn 24 lspoo 19 LOVE IT!
ECU 52 Tulane 29 The Wave just suck.
Coastal 59 ulm 6 Back to normalcy.
SLU 38 McNeese 35 Cole Kelly looked painfully slow! I mean S-L-O-W! Cowpokes sacked him several times and put lots of pressure on him.
Nationally, it's UGA and Bama. I put UGA first because they are playing better than Bama so far. But, they will meet twice, in the SECCG and then for the national championship. There is more parity...for the other 130+ teams, but UGA and Bama didn't get that memo.
