At some point, the marketing and business classes should kick in for these people. 2500 fans donating to LTAC, buying tickets, buying merch, and concessions trumps 50 fans donating more and not showing up. Same thing for other sports. Simple math is hard for people who are too smart.

Yep 2500 x $1000 dollars to LTAC is a 2.5 million. Those same 2500 probably would have at least 2 tickets for football, basketball, or baseball. So that’s a solid 5000 fans filling seats at the Joe which isn’t great but it’s a good start for a stadium our size. Those numbers would create great atmospheres for most basketball games, and would fill the baseball stadium. Plus like you said Merch, food and drinks etc. Our admin looks for ways to leave money on the table apparently

Yep, I have even had a hard time getting through to the ticket office during the week before. I was literally trying to give them my money, and couldn't find anyone to take it.

I suppose we should just ignore the second lie coming from our admin regarding baseball tickets since they are dealing with the FUBAR hand they dealt themselves.

The only thing respectable over there now is baseball and they are trying to screw that up. What a bunch of goof balls!

Men's basketball is respectable and has a chance to take a step up similar to what the baseball team did last year. So, lets give the admin a break. Football is wrecked and that took a lot of focus. NOW they have to screw up two more programs.... That's a lot of effort they will have to expend to F' Up two sports at the same time.....
