Skippy should have quit while he was 11-0. UTEP will get him, and will probably be this week.
UTEP is not as good as their record. Holtz will proclaim them as a mini Alabama, that’s just for smoke in case he loses the game. However, if we play our game and Holtz reads a magazine in the 4th, we win.
My prediction:
LA Tech - 41
UTEP - 20
Any closer than that, and I'll be disappointed. I think the UTEP fan base will turn out 25k+. Like everyone, they want to beat Tech badly, and they THINK they smell blood in the water.
Just go with 42-21 like the last two times we went out to El Paso. I think UTEP will be shocked to see how tough we will be. They are living on a high beating up wimps of FBS.
