On the CUSA board, I picked Marshall to beat UNT in Denton. But I'm having 2nd thoughts. Marshall is really bad this year.

Marshall is a 6-7 win team. Which is bad for them. But UNT -- talk about bad, they are a hot mess.

Counter Trap! Told you guys years ago, modern defenses are weak against the Trap. The trap play helps undersized lines like Tech's, basically legal blindside blocks.

I LOVE trap plays! One of my favorite series of plays we ran back in jr high were the traps. I played TE one year and got to blindside the DT when he thought he had a clear path to the RB.

Skippy isn't smart enough to draw up, teach, and execute traps.

#2 Iowa....OVER-rated!!! lost to Purdue. Got crushed, really. Had more turnovers in the 2nd half than they had 1st downs. Late in the 4th qtr they had only 15 yards of offense in the 2nd half. Then Purdue went into the STUPID prevent defense and Iowa did garner some offense late.

If the $EC fines schools $250K for storming the field, Tennessee should be fined at least a million for losing control of its fans tonight when they threw everything including maybe a kitchen sink onto the field. Water bottles, mustard bottles, and at least one golf ball (Kiffen was hit by one) all were thrown.
