This double whammy of our dismal record and Tech getting blindsided with the conference shuffle has to affect our recruiting in a negative way. IMO when you start cutting into recruiting is when programs can go into serious decline.

Exactly! As opposed to the bargain deal we got with Holtz in 2013 when we saved on the football HC salary and shifted it over to MBB and Mike White.
