A good first step. But there are a lot bigger fish to fry and I hope voters right the ship this November and again in 2024.

My concern is that the globalist idiots have moved so far left that the leftist RINOs wii be considered moderates. We have many of those turds in our own state and people keep voting them in.

    The lesser of two evils...

Yeah, RINOs drive me nutso and I would prefer true conservatives, but when circumstances present we voters with an effing commie bastard vs. a RINO turd, well the choice is obvious. Hold your nose and vote for the turd. The key are the primaries, to boot the RINOs out then.

I've been in that camp for a while.

After Bush, I refused to go vote for either Romney or McCain, and to this day think that either of them would have been more dangerous than Obama was. They reacted to scathing criticism from the leftist media by "going along" with policies that were supposedly against their governing philosophy. Their goal was to be loved by the very people that were attempting to destroy them, and that moved the left's agenda forward at warp speed.

If Cassidy, McCain and Romney are/were the best the republicans have, they are best kept in the minority where they at least make some effort to slow the idiotic stuff going on today.

I thought Trump would be the same and I refrained from voting for him in 2016 as well. Once I saw that he truly represented me, and the published platform of the republican party, I enthusiastically waited in line for two hours to cast my vote for him. I won't make that effort if my choice is a poop sandwich or a giant douche.

Me neither. I wonder if Congressman Mike Johnson would have aspirations to the senate? He's been a great congressman for us in the 4th District, and would hate to lose him in that role, but I think he'd represent our state well as US Senator.

I don’t like Cassidy, he’s a putz. But this kind of attitude elected JBE who has been much worse than the GOP candidate would have been.

Please remember Dems take orders from the National democrap party leaders, so there is no such thing as a true moderate Dem

Now it is being uncovered that the shocking Republican primary results in Georgia last month most likely were fraudulent. Hand counting of paper ballots is the only solution.

I always thought of Senator John Cronyn as a staunch conservative. If he is in favor red flag laws, he and any other Republican should definitely be primaried. Red flag laws are a dangerous precedent to set toward taking away law abiding citizens rights.

Cornyn is almost as RINO as they come. He acts conservative when it suits his interests. But otherwise he is a swamp creature.

    Re: 2022 Mid-term Elections

GOP flipped a Texas Congressional seat last night in a special election to fill out the term of the Dem who resigned. Mayra Flores (R) got about 51% of the vote to beat the Dem challenger. But, Flores has to run again in November and because of Gerrymandering, that district will be even more democrat. If she wins again in November that will be significant.

Trump-backed candidates split two races in South Carolina, but he ousted the azzhole RINO Rice who voted to impeach him.
