It would be awesome if Dallas Baptist joined CUSA for baseball. They probably won't since they are doing so well where they are. But, it sure would boost the future CUSA's baseball rating.
With only 8 teams in C-USA, how many conference series should we have?
C-USA currently has 10 conference series and we miss 1 team annually. With the new set up, we have 7 series if we play Round Robin.

That would leave an extra 3 weekends that each team would have to schedule, which is probably not easy to find regional non-conference weekend series
Another option would be 3 teams H & H and 4 teams once.
You could set up by Geography or randomly. Play teams in your division H/H and 2 H, 2 A for other division.
West: Tech, SHSU, NMSU, JSU
East: Liberty, FIU, MTSU, WKU
That's where having 9 baseball schools would be a lot more favorable

Joined the WAC last week. I think CUSA doesn't allow non-football members (remember when we almost booted UAB).
I don't like non-full members, but if it would keep us at 9 for football (while helping basketball scheduling and rounding out baseball) I could have gone for a non-football member. Would have taken enough buy-in from the whole conference though because you'd have a by-laws change I think.
