There is a serious mental block there. Several times, I felt Ruston had the better team and still never stood a chance. Same as Cedar Creek with Oak Grove until this year.
Another reason: My son plays for Ruston. We will be there. He's a senior and without any upsets in our bracket, this will most likely be his last game in Ruston.
Both teams have a big following. I don't know if the crowd will be larger at Ruston High, but those people will be at the high school game, and not TECH. The already small crowd at TECH will be smaller as a result.
