I will be pleasantly surprised if Tech wins this game.
We are 14.5 point favorites. So far so good. 11:07 in first half 23-6. Lots of basketball to go.
Tech won, 83-64. The Dogs shot 84% (15 of 18) from the FT line tonight.

YES! we hit our FTs, and they shot only 58% from the line. We shot 40% from the arc, while they hit only 25% from the 3-pt line. Bingo! This was reversal of how the two teams were shooting coming into the game. They had been shooting better than us in their games vs. Oklahoma, Tulsa, and then had a bad night, from the arc, at SMU, but OK from the FT line. Their big guy, Larry Owens, killed us inside. He outplayed Lofton and exposed Tech's weakness in the paint if we don't get Lofton some help.Originally Posted by HogDawg

Seems like Crawford is expected to out 2-3 weeks. Hopefully he is back for a few games before conference starts.

BTW, I don't know how Opie keeps his job at NSU. Haven't had a winning season, I can remember, in a very long time.
Another BTW, NSU's now former AD Greg Burke was forced out and typical of NSU for their favorite sons, was given a soft landing.
