Heck of a story. We were all over Amik during Sneed’s time here, but Sneed has done well in the NFL. His parents both did hard time, as did other relatives. He got picked up himself a time or two while at Tech. Somehow managed to make it this far.
I hope he breaks the cycle.

Wow parts of this is hard to read. Hope his carrer and personal life continues on the upward path.
Sneed got the game-clinching INT as the Chiefs beat that bunch from Dallas. It's his second INT of the season. He also made some very, very good open-field tackles. Something the current crop of Dawgs should learn to do.
He made a highlight reel tackle last night - Gallup was up in air making the catch and Sneed grabbed him by the legs in the air and took him down.

Add to it that his older brother, who helped raise him, was just murdered in Minden.

Did you even read the article? Being incarcerated for attempted murder and stabbing people in the neck is not a sign of an oppressive justice system, so your talking point is rather....pointless.
The fact that he is working through this stuff at his age is unimaginable. Very impressive young man.

Yes. This is such a tragic story on all accounts. I am so glad he has an opportunity to get out of the environment. He has certainly done well in the NFL.

The United States is 5% of the world's population yet 25% of world's prison population. (And of the 50 states, Louisiana is typically the worst.) That can only mean one of two things--either our laws are unjust, or we are the most evil nation on earth.
