I'm sure Junior was in the game because he wanted to be, but it might be time to tone things way back for a little while. He does have two things going for him - youth and a knowledgeable training/medical staff. Such an injury to an old man like me would sideline me for a good while.

The next three up are Santa Clara, ULL, LSU. All three could prove to be tough wins although ULL has lost 3 in a row including a 75 to 70 loss to Jackson State. Of course Tech barely beat Jackson State 70 to 68.

Jackson State had a double digit lead much of the game against the Ragin' Chili Pepper Leopards.

It's just like our football team. Sometimes I feel like our players we're putting on the field are made of glass. Fragile bunch. Luke Anthony went down last year with one of the worst leg injuries I've ever seen. He's still recovering. So this year, his replacement --Austin Kendall-- got so beat up that he was done after 5 or 6 games. Then we bring in JD Head, and his scrawny 165 lb freshman frame lasted exactly one game. before he got hurt. Then he recovered, and then he went down again. I guess Aaron Allen made it thru the whole season ok. But this injury thing is ridiculous.
