Texas Tech QB Henry Colombi has entered the transfer portal. I have no idea if he has any interest in LA Tech and/or whether LA Tech has any interest in him. https://247sports.com/Player/Henry-Colombi-80412/
This will be his 3rd school. Started at Utah State and transferred to Texas Tech- now going to transfer again. I don't know much about him, though. Just looked at a quick rundown of his schools. I wonder if he started for Utah State? He may be following our coach. If he is good, I am just fine with that.
I'm bored with the transfer portal thing.
How did this evolve?
He’s right. Adults care way too much about the business of these 18-25 year olds.
I have "decommitted" to my passion for college football.
I am pretty sure the portal (plus COVID) created some market inefficiencies with high school players, and that could work to our advantage I think in the medium term. But I also think that it's also created an opportunity for market inefficiencies with jucos, right? If everyone is going after FBS transfers in the portal that means that maybe some good players are being overlooked from the juco ranks (especially since you might assume the juco talent level is a little higher than normal because the covid year high school recruiting classes weren't handled as normal and maybe pushed an average higher caliber class into the juco system).
I think this is partly how UTEP had the successful (by their standards) season they did.
I hope Navarro had some OL guys with potential.
Does that make sense?
2022 would be his 7th year of eligibility. He missed last year due to an accident.Matt Zenitz @mzenitz 48m
Mississippi State QB Jack Abraham has entered the transfer portal, @on3sports has learned. Was a starter at Southern Miss prior to transferring to Mississippi State.https://on3.com/news/the-2021-22-college-football-transfer-portal-tracker/
Watching the relaunch of Dirty Jobs. Each show Mike Rowe allows the business owners to emphasize the work to be done if you want to work. Young people don’t want to do the actual work involved in building boats, bridges, or other tough work. That much is obvious. You have guys doing manual labor at 50 and 60 who should be teaching younger men to do the work while preparing for retirement.
