This is a lesson your athletic department is having to learn the hard way after it spent years trying to screw over in-state and Sun Belt athletic programs thinking it would somehow elevate La Tech.

Since y'all seem to be taking an interest in us, y'all might want to know that we officially became a "Tier One" school according to the Carnegie Classifications which puts us in a category with all of the top national research universities. This is a big feather in our cap and it will open up a lot of opportunities for us to further improve and better ourselves. It turns out that it doesn't matter what anyone calls you as long as you put in the work.

I didn't read all your drivel, but don't lecture others about anything as your school lacks ETHICS, not to mention abiding by Law, as athletics is specifically included in such. However, the lack of ethical behavior, as exhibited by ULL in your shameful pursuit, reflects on the UL System - which ULL has no right to do. The UL System and State are at fault, also. Yes, the issue you alone created has "left the barn" but will hopefully be rectified when the shame and damage your school instigated is correctly perceived.

How has Tech screwed over SBC programs? We don't have that aspiration nor power. ULL does have the aspiration to "screw over" the UL System.

As for ULL's elevation to Carnegie 1 status ... good on them. It's a shame their long history of bribery and corruption calls even that into question.
Tech was a Tier 1 Carnegie. Is that still true?

It had to do with Dooley in what was supposedly an "off the record" supporter meeting. It was a "benign" remark to a closed group that was unexpectedly, and likely incorrectly, reported.

As we all know, ULL is "all in" on creating false perceptions gambling others' reputation. A typical unethical behavior

…….Yes, if you call the use of primates a sacrifice for literally saving millions of humans throughout the world…….true leadership to aid a world pandemic was/is displayed by our university…..be proud that you are part of a system that has shown elements that have lead to a solution to a deadly situation. As has been requested through the years, just leave us alone and watch what we can do!

Still holding out judgement. After 8-10 years of research, results, and long term side affects we can evaluate whether it was worth it to give experimental shots for a virus with a 99.5% survival rate.

Not saying anything against USL directly. Just don’t want to give credit to anyone until it is established that it is deserved.

LaTech was USNWR Tier I, which I do not think is the case any longer. LaTech was never a Carnegie R1 institution.

As Champion has pointed out, Tech is USNWR Tier 1, while the Cajuns are Carnegie R1.

    Congrats to both schools.
