A good place to get the box score is on the schedule page on Tech's website. https://latechsports.com/sports/mens...boxscore/10713
Lofton didn't play (was on the bench in sweatpants) due to coach's decision. However, he did block one of Dr. Guice's shots earlier in the day. https://twitter.com/itzjunior34/stat...70645084938250 Ben Ponder (the walk-on) appeared to be available, but he was never put in the game.
It was a glorified scrimmage and handled as such -
Most of Richard, Woolridge and Rupp teams could of not of pulled that off

We shall see Saturday exactly where this team is. That is not a glorified scrimmage nor is there any excuse for Tech not to show up and put it all out there. And not because "this is LSU" or some such mess, but because we are playing a 10-0 Top 20 ranked opponent on a neutral court, the #1 defensive team (statistically anyway) in the nation. We are 0-2 vs. quality opposition (bit of a push to classify Santa Clara as such, although that was a good road win) and games like this separate the wheat from the chaff. Much like Holtz, Konkol has failed miserably getting quality wins of this magnitude.
Put up or shut up.
I agree -
I think we will see a similar effort to NC State - but will it be enough to win?
This is basically LSU's first trip out of BR, LSU's defense scares me - they are long, athletic and have a deep bench
That said - their offense will probably erupt and score 90+ and shatter the over
I would say a quality win is ANY WIN over any opponent that has a NET of 100 or less at year end - regardless of league - that's basically the top 30% of college basketball teams - last year he had 5 of those wins classified as quadrant 1 or 2 wins

We all know Crawford would have been a big help with his length. Alas...
I want to see a solid gameplan/scheme designed to maximize our strengths and attack their weaknesses. I also want to see our guys playing with determined confidence. Why not? The pressure is on them, no one expects Tech to even stay in the game. No reason for our guys to play scared. Go have fun and give it your best shot. In all sports, big surprises/huge upsets spring from situations when the underdog plays hard, but loose, and the big favorite playing "not to lose" tightens up.
The Dawgs can win this game. Yeah, we have to play our best, bring our A++ game...and bomb 20/20 from the arc!!! Well, okay, 17/20.
GO DAWGS! Beat Ella's Shoe!
we don’t have to shoot 100 percent from the 3 point line.
Protect the ball
Defend the line; none of that fallback to the lane on a break and watch them shot set shots from the 3 like at Bama
shoot 40 percent ourselves from the 3
we have a shot
Well our standard procedure these days vs ranked opponent seems to be to start slow and sloppy (turnovers and cheap fouls) while our opponent take a double digit lead and has a player go for 20+ pts in the first half. Said player couldn’t miss even if he was blindfolded while kicking the ball at the rim.
Last year Junior was one of our few or only bright spots against LSU.
