Misappropriation of funds would be a serious charge. The idea that maybe he's giving more emphasis to academics and less to football wouldn't bother me much.

I don't follow Grambling enough to know, but considering most of the news about them over the last 15-20 years, the fact that I rarely hear anything about them seems pretty good.

Seems that the school and the town are getting their crap together. Are they excelling? No, but they are not the dumpster fires they used to be. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if their athletics have taken a back seat overall. I actually do a pretty good number of appraisals there and they are building academic facilities everywhere.
