Lofton needs to quit trying to "handle" the ball so much outside. He's not a guard, and nobody thinks he plays like one.
Looks like they gave the game basketball an extra oiling before the game tonight. Either that or they popped one straight out of the box without breaking it in first.

I agree with that, there may be times that him being at the top of the key will open up the lane for a cutter like that 1 play. He is a good passer. He doesn’t need to put the ball on the floor.
The announcers need to just shut up about Kenneth Lofton. He's having a horrible game so far, and they just keep going on and on about him.
Junior has made the best pass of the night so far. Too bad the passes to him have not been that good.
Someone who knows more than me should explain why the restricted arc is a good thing. Can a player not be out of control inside that? Not by rule, I mean, but in reality.
He's also thrown a couple away too.

So, since Bienemy has scored 20 of UTEP's 25 points, why in the hell do we keep leaving him wide open to shoot 3's???

9 players have scored for LA Tech.
3 players have scored for UTEP.
Best thing about it is that it eliminates any doubt on a block-charge call when the defensive player has a foot on the arc line like Cobe did. I like that it eliminates cheap charge calls from being drawn by a defensive player standing under the basket. But I think the top of the arc is drawn 3-6 inches too far out from the basket.
