Tech just 3-13 from beyond the arc at the 3:39 media timeout. Score tied at 22 with USM shooting 2 FTs.

Another cold shooting first half. Willis dagger at the buzzer makes it 30-26 Tech at halftime.
Tech now 4-17 from 3 and 10-30 overall even with that last shot. Lucky USM is worse at 10-36 overall and 3-11 from 3.
I see it every day. In these kids minds they are thinking about what happened a few days ago with this team. No energy. I just witnessed K Willis watch a lose ball roll around his feet and our center had to dive on the floor just to get a tie up.
Worst thing that could have happened was the quick 7-0 start. Tech hasn't had the same intensity since.
Lofton picks up 2 quick fouls (3 for the game) including a flagrant 1 elbow. USM gets 8 FTs to lead 36-35 at the 16 minute timeout.
