RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech women's basketball team returns to the court on Monday, Jan 17 when they face off with UTSA in Conference USA action inside the Thomas Assembly Center at 1 p.m. The game can be heard on the LA Tech Sports Network (97.7 FM) as well as seen on CUSATV.com through a paid subscription.

Up 62-39 after third. Started game 5/6 threes and 9/10 free throws. FINISH STRONG!!

Sputtered down the stretch...won 79-64 (seems like both our teams get stuck on 79). UTSA shot 86% from the FT line, but the Techsters shot a whopping 96% (22 of 23) from the line. That's pretty good.

Finally won a game Tech was supposed to win.

Win two of the next three on the road and Tech might have a chance to salvage something this season. Get swept or lose two of those three and it will be a long climb uphill.

Hopefully, we can win enough to get a middle of the pack seeding in the tournament. We seem to do much better that our season would indicate when we get to the conference tournament. I think we might have actually won it last year with the way we were playing at that time. Starting off with a low seed hurts us a lot each time, though.
