What if they just leave and when CUSA sends them a bill for it they just refuse to pay? Is some judge going to go knock on their doors and demand a check be cut? He can demand all he wants; he can jump up and down and scream like a child in the store "give me a check!" But there's nothing anyone can do to make a school pay an exit fee. It's all on the honor system, and if you lack honor, it won't matter to you. None of this is too surprising really. UM, ODU, and USM are heading to the slums, where lowlifes hang out. Shouldn't expect them to act in some honorable manner.

Rumor during sports discussions at the plant is there wont be any traffic between Hattiesburg and Ruston for a long time, at least until current administrations have moved on. Maybe this info is wrong but it wont be too long before we shall see.

Burroughs specifically mentioned both sides wanting to schedule non-conference baseball when he was interviewed last week. Of course that could get overruled by higher-ups.

Screw the higher ups. The atmosphere during our conference tourney games against USM was better than any game in any sport I have attended in Ruston. I hope we keep it going.

Oh okay Circuit Court. Go sell crazy elsewhere. There is probably a much stronger argument of "immediate and irreparable injury" to C-USA and its remaining members due to Marshall, Daryl, and Daryl violating the conference bylaws. Any injury to Marshall is self-inflicted.

I've been told we will. Of course scheduling may be a bit of a challenge (as you'd expect with an OOC arrangement). At any rate, the good news is, it's less about Internet fanboard drama and more about the physical calendar.
